If you have received a gift voucher and are wondering what you need to
do next, it's all explained here.
Booking into class: once you've decided which Wednesday evening you'd like to come
along, just give Julie a call or send an email to book your place at class. You
can book your space up to 24 hours before class starts. Remember to bring your
voucher with you to class.
Please take note of the expiry date on your voucher, ensuring you book
and take your class by that date, to avoid losing it.
If your gift voucher is for six classes - you have eight weeks from your
first class to use all six sessions. At your first class Julie will exchange
your voucher for your six week pass. You only need to book and take your
first class by the expiry date. Your pass will be extended if Julie needs
to cancel class for holidays or an unexpected reason.
When are the classes? Wednesday evenings at 7 - 8:15pm
Where are they? At the Borough Green Parish Church Hall on Quarry Hill Road
What level is it? The classes are perfect for beginners and intermediate levels
What style of yoga is it? Julie teaches in the vinyasa style of yoga. Vinyasa is a flowing yoga
practise, where we synchronise movement with breath. The classes are energising
and relaxing, strengthening and toning the body and calming the mind.
What should I wear? Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes that you would do any exercise
class in. I usually wear leggings and a top.
Do I need to bring anything?
Remember to bring your gift voucher with you. I have mats for you to
use, but if you have one - you can of course bring it along. Bring along a
blanket if you can, we often use it as a prop and for the relaxation at the end
of class.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive a few minutes early for your first class as I'd just like
to have a little chat with you to find out your experience with yoga (it's
totally fine if you don't have any!) and if you have any injuries or illnesses
we need to work around.
A little bit about Borough Green Yoga
Julie has been practising yoga for over fifteen years and took her
teaching qualification in 2014, becoming a registered teacher with Yoga
Alliance Professionals. Julie has been teaching at the Borough Green
Parish Church Hall since early 2015.
Lastly...
It is a very friendly class and everyone is encouraged to listen to their body
and stay within their own limits. Yoga isn't competitive - you are coming for
you.
I look forward to welcoming you along to class, where your gift of yoga
will leave you feeling relaxed, calm, happy and energised.
